The Echo Design Group Expands Its Home Collections
Echo HOME for Fall 2001 includes expanded offerings and new product
categories
(New York - October 2001) A leader in the world of fashion
accessories for more than seven decades, Echo is now expanding
its home collection, offering new products and categories. Known
for
quality and timeless beauty, The Echo Design Group launched Echo
HOME in 1992 as their expertise in color, print, pattern and
design lends itself naturally to accessories for the home.
The Echo Design Group was founded in 1923 with a simple commitment
to the highest standards of quality, design and service. In every
aspect
of Echo's
business, from fashion accessories for women and men, to
decorative products for the home, that pledge has never wavered.
Below
is a sampling of the offerings from Echo HOME for Fall 2001:
- "Time at Home"
Inspired by the overwhelming success of Echo's first book,
A Home for All Seasons, Echo is proud to introduce
Time at Home. Conceived by Meg and Steven Roberts, principals
of
The Echo Design Group, this hardbound edition is a gorgeous
coffee table book of exquisite photos and text published
by Abrams. The book offers creative inspiration for decorating
your home.
- Area Rugs, Accent Rugs, Throws and Decorative
Pillows
Echo HOME debuts an extensive collection of area rugs,
accent rugs, throws and decorative pillows for the first time this
season. The collection is produced by Trade Am International,
Inc. and includes new product categories for Echo HOME.
- Fabrics and Trim
New for this season, Echo HOME introduces fabrics and trim
through an exclusive licensing agreement with Kravet Fabric
Inc. The collection debuts with over 200 sku's.
- Bed and
Bath Products
Re-launching for Fall 2001, the Echo HOME bedding collection
has more designs and high quality product specifications.
The collection includes 5 bedding ensembles and is produced
by Revman Industries.
- Wallcoverings
Echo HOME releases a new wallpaper book this season. The wallcovering
collection, produced by Gramercy, a division of F. Schumacher & Company,
offers over 100 selections.
- Elegant Paper Goods
For this season, Echo has added new patterns to their collection
of elegant paper goods, available through C.R. Gibson. The
extensive collection
includes
stationery, photography albums, paper plates and napkins,
and gift-wrap all in a variety of Echo patterns.
In addition to its home products, the Echo brand also encompasses
women's scarves, wraps, gloves and hats, as well as cold weather
and rainwear
collections.
The Echo Design Group holds the licenses for specialized fashion
accessories for Polo, Ralph Lauren, Lauren, Laura Ashley, Save the
Children, The
Smithsonian Institution, and The Museum of Natural History. The
Echo Design Group also
creates customized products for many of the country's leading museums,
corporations and retailers.
